20-year-old gang-raped by friends
A 20-year-old girl became a victim of the worst form of serial abuse at the hands of her friends when her friends allegedly raped her for three continuous days at Manori.
On Saturday, Pinky (name changed) had a fight with her boyfriend Sunny Singh. Upset, she went to a hookah parlour and met her friend Kritika.
According to Goregaon police officials, Kritika then coaxed Pinky to accompany her to Manori.
In her statement, Pinky says that at Manori, Kritika's two friends Ali and Dhananjay were present, who then raped her repeatedly for three days.
Pinky's boyfriend Sunny said, "Pinky met Kritika, who then persuaded her to come to Manori."
From there, they left in a car, and on the way two guys sat in the same car, and Dhananjay, who is another accused, showed some card and said that he is a detection officer.
They then took her to Manori and raped her.
She returned on Wednesday. We came to the police station at 7.30 pm and waited till 11.30 pm because the police did not file a complaint. Only when I contacted the media, did they then file an FIR."
"The investigation is on and now the matter will be transferred to Manori police station, as the crime occurred in their jurisdiction," said Inspector RL Kasbe of Goregaon police station.
The accused are currently under police custody, and at 3 am, they were sent to Gorai for further investigations.
According to a police official, Pinky was also taken to a hospital in Gorai for the medical examination.
